The night tees off in the heart of the CBD, where the screens light up and a famous fairway rolls out in front of you. Two whole hours on the golf simulator, with all the equipment waiting, means nobody needs to own a thing or know a single rule. Someone will announce she is "naturally good at this" and then send her first shot sailing into a virtual bunker. Someone else will nail a drive so clean the whole group goes quiet. And when the bride steps up for her tee shot, the other five will be cheering like it's the final hole of a championship. This is where the camera roll starts filling up: her follow-through and the victory dance nobody asked for.
Then it's a short stroll to the second game of the day. Our glam laneway cocktail lounge is all low lighting and plush velvet seating under hanging pendant lights, and your own mixologist host is behind the bar with the shakers lined up just for your group. This is an interactive cocktail making masterclass built for hens, not a history lesson about bitters. Everyone gets hands on with a shaker, and by the end each of you has made and sipped three delicious cocktails, with pro tips to steal for every girls' night from here on. When the shaking is done, delicious share plates start landing along the table in your reserved area of the lounge, and you finally get to sip what you made while you replay every air shot from the golf. Here's the best part: you don't go anywhere. The night simply turns up around you.
Your VIP booth is waiting, reserved for your group for two hours, with the cover charge waived and custom neon signs and glittering pendants glowing overhead. Then comes the moment: a surprise bottle of bubbly arrives for your hen. Watch her face when she realises it's for her.
