What happens when a crew of seven meets a table full of clay and a very handsome man who forgot his shirt? A surprising amount of giggling, and some genuinely impressive art. Sculpted and Served is a hens in two delicious halves. First you make something with your hands in your own VIP room while your topless waiter looks after you. Then the night gets served up properly, with share plates, a bonus cocktail for the hen, a velvet booth and a surprise bottle of bubbly. Your bride is the creative type, sure, but she's no saint.
Sculpted. It all begins at our own glam CBD venue, with two whole hours of VIP room hire and the rest of the world left outside. Pink hues, neon signs, hanging greenery and sleek, stunning decor make it the kind of room where phones come out before coats come off, and a round of cocktails on arrival means the first sip happens the second you walk in. Your dedicated My Ultimate artist host has already laid out the clay, sculpting tools, rolling pins and aprons, so all materials are included and nobody has to bring a thing but enthusiasm.
Over the two hour workshop, your host walks everyone through the little techniques that make clay feel weirdly addictive. Pinch here, smooth there, and suddenly the girl who swore she wasn't creative is the most competitive one at the table. Each of you shapes one large piece that is entirely your own, and your bride can take all the inspiration she likes from the wedding. Or from the waiter. We're not judging.
Served. Because while you're elbow-deep in clay, somebody has to look after the drinks, and he's much better looking than a bar tab. Your My Ultimate Hens topless waiter is with your group for two hours and private for your group only, serving the drinks and posing for every photo you can dream up, with games and eye candy fun running the whole time. His job is simple: keep the fun high and keep the spotlight on the bride. Wait until he turns all that charm on her, right in the middle of her masterpiece! Someone's phone is already out for the shot of her, clay to the elbows and laughing beside him, and the group chat will still be talking about it in a month.
Once every creation is boxed up to take home, round two is served. Your reserved table in the main dining area is waiting, and the delicious share plates start landing along with a bonus cocktail for the bride. The girls compare creations over the plates, and somebody inevitably holds hers up next to a photo of the groom. Cheeky.
And to finish? A little Melbourne nightlife, served laneway style. At our glam cocktail lounge, VIP entry means the cover charge is waived and a velvet VIP booth sits waiting in the low light, reserved for your group for two hours. Then a surprise bottle of bubbly arrives for your hen. She'll share, eventually. Once the glasses are poured, the dance floor does the rest, and you dance the night away.
From the first pinch of clay to the last pour of bubbly, it's a night that's clever and cheeky in equal measure, and all hers. When she holds her masterpiece up for the camera with you right beside her, the credit is all yours: you sculpted this whole night. We'd hand you a trophy, but you probably made your own.
