Art First. Abs Later.
Art & Abs is a day that gets a little cheekier with every stop. Bring the whole crew, twelve or more including the bride. It all starts very respectably, with a canvas each and a bottle of bubbly by the river.
Booking it brings our hens games and printables your way, plus custom invite templates for rounding up the girls.
Your reserved spot by the river is set for the afternoon, and the bubbly is popped for the crew. Your artist brings the paints and brushes, plus a canvas and an apron for each of you, and takes the two-hour class one stage at a time.
It doesn't take long for opinions to form. Someone turns out to be unexpectedly good, and someone else needs a little help with the first strokes. The bride looks around at her girls, all concentrating far harder than anyone expected, and gets that lovely feeling of having everyone in one place.
Then the paintings go up for the group photo, and every girl takes hers home. That's the first reveal of the day, and it gets a very proud round of applause.
Aprons off. Cocktails on. Pink neon is next, where the first round is a cocktail each and tapas are passed along the table. A bonus cocktail lands for the bride. She thinks that's her surprise. Her bridesmaid knows better.
Later, it's into the laneways, where your booth is waiting with entry looked after and a bottle of bubbly for the crew. She painted a masterpiece this afternoon. Then one walked in: her topless waiter, here for the next two hours. The second reveal gets a slightly different reaction. She looks straight at her bridesmaid, who is already laughing.
He introduces himself, then makes a little extra fuss of the bride as he pours the bubbly. Between pictures with the girls and plenty of cheeky conversation, he gets to know who's who around the booth. Everyone is here for her, and someone else is looking after the service.
