Her Last First Date. Make It A Cracker.
She has survived the awkward dinners and the dodgy texts, and then she found the one. Which means this is officially her last first date, and we think it should be a cracker. Clay Date is made for a tight little crew who want a hens that feels personal and a little bit cheeky: cocktails in your own VIP room, your hands deep in the clay, a handsome topless waiter at your service, then share plates and a velvet booth to dance the night away. It's her hens after all, and every good date needs a bit of eye candy.
The date begins at our own glam venue in the Melbourne CBD, where two hours of VIP room hire mean the room is all yours. Girly pink hues, glowing neon signs, hanging greenery and stunning decor set the scene, and every corner looks like it was designed for the group photo. A round of cocktails on arrival lands in every hand before the bags have even hit the floor, so the very first toast goes to the bride. Clink clink!
Then the aprons go on. Your dedicated My Ultimate artist host arrives with the clay, the sculpting tools, the rolling pins and an apron for everyone, so all materials are included and all you have to bring is a little imagination. For two hours your host shares the clever little techniques that make clay surprisingly addictive, and each of you shapes and sculpts one large piece that is completely your own. Elegant? Abstract? Wonky? Suspiciously inspired by the groom? We'll never tell.
Meanwhile, here's the real reason nobody is concentrating. Your My Ultimate Hens topless waiter is with your group for two hours, private for your group only, serving the drinks and posing for photo after photo, with plenty of games and eye candy fun in between. He's charming and polished, and he knows the spotlight belongs to the bride. Just imagine her face when she looks up from her clay and he's striking a pose right beside her! Somebody will catch the bride in her apron, her masterpiece half done, the girls in fits of laughter and a very handsome grin in the middle of it all. Date photos have never looked this good.
When the last piece is finished, it's tucked into its own carry box to take home, and the celebration moves out into the main dining area where your reserved table is waiting. Out come the delicious share plates, a chef's selection made for passing and pinching, while a bonus cocktail heads straight for your hen. Every good date should end with her being spoilt.
Except this date isn't over. The best ones end somewhere a little glamorous, and ours is an easy teeter away: a glam cocktail lounge down a Melbourne laneway, where your VIP entry waives the cover charge and a velvet VIP booth is kept for your group for two hours. Then comes the moment she didn't see coming: a surprise bottle of bubbly for your hen, glowing under the glittering pendants. She pours for the girls, and suddenly the dance floor is calling. Time to dance the night away.
