Is your bride secretly a bombshell who just needs the right costume? Good news. We have the costume. The Big Tease keeps the whole group in one gorgeous venue in the CBD from late afternoon into the evening, starting with a private room and a burlesque class with the bride dressed for the part, then settling into a VIP booth for three whole hours with hot grazing platters to share. Nobody has to herd anyone anywhere. It's her hens after all, so let her be the bombshell!
It begins in our function room, where the stunning decor sets the mood and two whole hours of private area hire mean it's just your girls behind the door. A round of bubbly is poured for everyone as you walk in, and a bonus cocktail for the hen goes to the bride. Glasses up! Then the music starts.
Your private dance instructor sweeps in for a one-hour dance class with a fabulous burlesque theme, and the bride slips into her own costume for the hen, ready to take centre stage. There are fun accessories for your group to use, so nobody is left standing at the back, and every move is made for laughing, not for perfection. The class is designed for hens of every age and fitness level, so the nanna and the netballer are shimmying side by side.
Step by step, it gets more daring. A seductive walk here, a shoulder shimmy there. Suddenly your bride is strutting the room like she has done this her whole life while the girls cheer her on. By the finale, everyone is posing like a true diva. Phones out, because this is the photo: the bride in her costume front and centre, with her whole crew striking a pose around her.
Then comes the joy of staying put. It's an easy teeter, even in glittery heels, from the function room to your own VIP booth under the same roof, and it's yours for three whole hours.
Delicious grazing platters, the chef's selection, arrive hot at the booth just as everyone has worked up an appetite. The girls sink in to relive the class move by move, while the bride holds court from the middle of the booth, still glowing. Whenever someone fancies the next round, the bar is open for business, and somebody will definitely attempt that seductive walk again on the way back. Encourage it.
