Some nights feel lucky from the very first toast. This one starts at a long table on a balcony, every glass of bubbly raised to her at once. There's a lot of night still to come, and she can feel it.
Inside, the light turns pink. The girls slide into booths under the neon as the tapas starts going round. A cocktail arrives just for the bride. Someone decides this is the photo. They haven't even met the queen yet.
