Putters Out. Bubbles Up.
Not every bride wants her hens to start in the dark. Some want fresh air and a putter in one hand, with a glass of bubbly in the other. If that sounds like your girl, Golden Hour Golf was made for her. It's the easy-going, everyone-can-play kind of hens that starts in the open air and glows a little brighter at every stop.
First up, eighteen holes of mini golf in the park. Everyone gets a glass of bubbly on arrival and all the mini golf gear is supplied, so nobody needs to be a golfer to get completely swept up in it. It sounds cute right up until everyone has a putter in hand and the commentary turns absolutely outrageous. Every lucky little putt gets celebrated like she has just won a major, and suddenly the whole group is very invested in the scorecard. Make sure somebody is filming when the bride lines up her final putt, because the victory pose that follows is a keeper. Ladies, practise that pose!
Then the afternoon slides into evening and the night heads up to our stunning rooftop bar. Want to arrive like headliners? Add our stretch limo, with a glass of bubbly each and a mini bar on board, and glide from the park to the rooftop in style. Up top, swaying palm fronds and oversized Hamptons-inspired lounges frame breathtaking views of the city skyline, and your reserved seating is ready for the whole group. Another round of house bubbly greets you. Then delicious tapas share plates arrive for the table, with a bonus cocktail heading straight to your hen. Bride's perks, obviously.
For everyone else, our discounted cocktail menu makes one more round a very easy decision. And if Melbourne changes its mind about the weather, the retractable canvas roof keeps the rain out and the party in. Call it her golden hour: her girls all around her and the city skyline behind. Then the city calls you in. Tucked away in a Melbourne laneway, our glam cocktail lounge is all plush velvet booths glowing under custom neon and glittering pendants, and yours is reserved for two hours with the cover charge waived. Then the surprise lands: a bottle of bubbly for your hen. Glasses up to the girl who started the day with a putter in her hand. When the music calls, it's time to dance the night away.
