Fresh flower crowns
Real blooms, still a little dewy, and the prettiest version on the day. Fresh is the one made for photos: soft petals, bright colour and that just-picked look. How long it lasts is just below.

You’ll spot her girls by the flowers
Buckets of blooms, her favourite people round one table, and a crown each to wear into the rest of her day.
Our flower crown workshop, your crowns, and her whole hens built around them, in six cities around Australia.

She’s in the middle of every photo. You get a crown of your own, a seat right beside her, and the thank-yous in the group chat with your name on them.
“Our night flowed really well, no stuffing around and most importantly I got to actually enjoy my friends hens instead of playing event manager all night because everything had already been thought through. The timing, what was included, where we'd go next, what suited the 9 girls we had and honestly, I didn't properly realise how much difference that would make until the actual night itself. It felt like a proper event rather than us just meeting at a few places Han loved every part of it and even said how did you do and find all this?? So that was the review from her I needed and I would use them again in a heartbeat!”

That’s the bit we love most: the girl who organised it, actually at the party, and the bride asking how on earth she pulled it off. More from real hens
01 the table of blooms
The thing they make becomes the look of the day they share.
A flower crown hens party with My Ultimate Hens is your crew around one table of blooms, everyone making a crown to wear out the door, with the rest of the bride’s day planned around it; our packages are in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide.
Most of us don’t spend an ordinary afternoon choosing flowers to wear in our hair. That’s exactly why it works. Everyone has something lovely to do with her hands, something easy to talk about with the girl beside her, and by the end, a crown she made herself. Then the crowns go on, and suddenly you can tell from across the room whose hens this is.
Someone reaches over to straighten the bride’s crown. Another girl opens her front camera so she can see it. Suddenly everyone wants a photo together.
Every flower crown hens, right about now

Before anyone arrives
Buckets of blooms, greenery and ribbon, laid out and waiting. All she has to do is walk in.

The first five minutes
Then they start choosing. Roses or gerberas, blush or bright, one big bloom or lots of little ones. Which one feels most like her?

The first twist
Your My Ultimate Hens workshop host shows the first twist of wire and ribbon, then stays close for the fiddly bits.

Heads down, hands busy
The girl from work and the girl from school both went straight for the pink ones, and now they’ve got plenty to talk about.

Halfway through
Crowns get held up for opinions. She came for the bride. She now has quite a few opinions about these flowers.

Crowns on
One by one, the crowns go on. Someone straightens the bride’s, and the whole table turns to look at her.

Then
Arms round each other, glasses up. Hand the phone over so you’re in it too.

After
The flowers are coming with you: to the rooftop, the long lunch or the dance floor, whatever the rest of her hens looks like.
And you? You booked one thing, then sat down and made a crown like everyone else.
02 pick your blooms
Nine ways to do your hens flower crowns, from dewy and fresh to a crown that never wilts. Tap the one that’s her and we’ll keep it in mind when you tell us about her.

Real blooms, still a little dewy, and the prettiest version on the day. Fresh is the one made for photos: soft petals, bright colour and that just-picked look. How long it lasts is just below.

Softer colours, sunset tones and everlasting blooms, with a crown that keeps long after the day. The bride who loves a boho look, or wants something to hang in the wardrobe after the wedding, will be all over this one.

Faux blooms that survive the dance floor, the hotel floor and the flight home. Brilliant for a hens weekend, a summer afternoon, or the bride who’d love to wear hers again.

A mobile flower crown workshop: the blooms and the ribbon come to where you’re staying, at home or at our own accommodation on her hens weekend. A make your own flower crown party where nobody has to leave the pyjamas behind until dinner.

Blooms laid out like a buffet, ribbon by the reel, and everyone building her own. The table looks so good that someone always photographs it before a single stem is touched.

Make the crowns, then wear them to the tiered stands. Flowers in your hair, a scone in your hand and the prettiest table in town.

White blooms or her wedding colours, and a short veil tucked behind it for the photos if she’s game. It makes a lovely little practice run for her wedding-day hair, too.

White linen, white blooms and Dancing Queen on repeat. A Mamma Mia hens was always going to end in flower crowns, and the group photo looks like a postcard from a Greek island.

The same table of flowers, a different thing to take home: a posy, a hand-tied bouquet, or a crescent moon wreath of dried flowers to hang on her door.
Swipe for all nine on a phone.
03 keep it blooming
Will it make it to midnight? With a little love, it usually does.
A fresh flower crown usually looks its best on the day and lasts the night if it’s kept cool and out of the sun, then starts to wilt within a day or two. Dried and faux crowns keep for a long time.
The making itself usually takes around two hours at the flower table, so there’s time to choose, change your mind, finish the fiddly bits and still get the photo before the next stop.
The prettiest on the day. Made for the photos, the toasts and the night out.
Softer and a little boho. Keeps for months on a shelf or a hook.
Never wilts. Survives the dance floor and the suitcase.

04 who’s at the table
Different friends, different tastes, one table of flowers.

She’d happily put flowers in her hair just because. This is the hens that looks exactly like her.

Mum will be first to the flower table, and her nan will have a bloom tucked behind one ear before anyone’s finished. Every age makes a crown, and every age looks good in one.

The making is the point, so nobody misses a thing. A crown on her head looks just as good in the photo, whatever’s in her glass.

She’ll tell everyone she isn’t crafty. She’ll also make the best crown in the room, with your host there for the fiddly bits.

Crowns at two, the dance floor by nine. The flowers make the whole night look like a hens, from the first toast to the last song.
Tell us about anyone with hay fever or allergies so we know before the day. Faux and dried crowns are lovely too.
05 worth every petal
The package is the magic.
Our flower crown hens packages usually sit around $150 to $250 per person. Our flower crown workshop comes inside a hens package with the day built around it, so the price covers the whole celebration, not just the flowers.
What moves it: her city, what comes before and after the crowns (a high tea, a cocktail, a rooftop, dinner or a night out) and whether you make a weekend of it.
A flower crown hens for her: a table of blooms, a crown each, and the whole day built around it. Our flower crown hens packages usually sit around $150 to $250 per person.
With us, the table is covered in flowers before she walks in, your host is there for every twist of ribbon, and the next stop is already lined up for when the crowns go on.

06 the finishing touch
The best part of the outfit is the bit you make together.

White, the one different colour at the table. Her crown can be the fullest one there, in white blooms or her wedding colours, with a short veil if she’s game.

One colour together, pastels, florals or white linen for a Mamma Mia hens. Keep the jewellery simple and let the crown do the talking.

Loose waves or a low bun sit beautifully under a crown, and a braid looks gorgeous round a half crown. Bring bobby pins, shoes you can stand in for the group photo, and a layer for the rooftop later.

Garden party: florals and pastels, flowers in our hair. The bride wears white.
One colour together: everyone in blush pink, the bride in white in the middle of the photo.
Mamma Mia: white linen and denim, a crown of white blooms. Dancing shoes for later.
Boho: earthy tones, flowing dresses, a dried flower crown. The bride in cream lace.

07 make it hers

Her colours
Think blush roses and baby’s breath. In the old language of flowers, that’s love, and forever.
Print it for the table, send it to the bridesmaids, or make it the group chat photo.
08 group chat, meet group photo
Five shots worth clearing the camera roll for, with a caption ready for each.
On three, every crown goes on at once. Then the bride puts hers on, and every phone is pointed at her.
Crowned by popular demand.
Stand on a chair (carefully) and shoot straight down over the table: hands, ribbon, blooms and half-made crowns.
Petal power.
Every girl in a row, shortest crown to tallest, the bride in the middle.
Every crown a little different. Very clearly her girls.
The bride in her crown, and her veil if she’s wearing one, with her girls gathered close behind her.
Her favourite people, in full bloom.
Crowns still on, walking into the next part of her hens. Then hand the phone over so you’re in one too.
This crown has plans.

A few favourites from our crews. One booking, and a day that flows.

Afternoon into evening
A crown each at the flower table, then a short stroll up to a rooftop with the crowns still on, for a glass of bubbly and plates to share as the afternoon turns gold.

The whole day
A waterfront brunch with the bubbles flowing, crowns made by the water, then up high as the city starts to sparkle. The crowns are in every photo from lunch to last drinks.

Pretty, then cheeky
Bubbles while the crowns come together, then tapas in a pink-lit booth and a VIP booth where your topless waiter takes over the pouring. A whole table of flower crowns in that light is a hens photo before anyone writes the caption.

A My Ultimate Hens flower crown day puts the whole celebration in one place: the table of blooms ready when she walks in, the next stop lined up for the moment the crowns go on, and little surprises for the bride along the way. We’ve been building hens since 2011, so we know which part of her day the flowers look best in, and how to get everyone there with their crowns still on.
“We booked a package with My Ultimate Hens for my friend's hens weekend. I initially heard about this company from another hens night I was at, with a friend, and it exceeded expectations. The itinerary was well thought out, the venues were great, and the transitions between each activity were seamless. It really felt like a premium, well-organised experience from start to finish. Highly, highly recommend!”
