Then it's a rooftop that doesn't even take Saturday bookings, unless you're one of ours, followed by share plates by the river as the city lights come up. The night finishes in a chic cocktail bar hidden in the laneways, in a velvet booth with a bottle of sparkling for the bride.

Tiles In Place. Knot Nearly Tied.
Tile The Knot is for the bride who'd rather make something beautiful with her girls than shout over a DJ, at least until later in the night. Just the six of you, bride included, start around a table of coloured glass and finish in a velvet booth in the laneways, with a rooftop and a riverside dinner in between. It's her hens after all.
It all begins at our mosaic studio, in a private room that's all yours. Bring your favourite bubbly, because the fridge is waiting and the glasses are ready to pour. Then comes the best kind of dilemma: choosing your design. There are hundreds to pick from and everyone chooses her own. Sea turtles and peacocks, lotus flowers and paw-print hearts are the ones our hens fall for most, and they look ridiculously cute lined up for the group photo.
Your expert instructor walks you through two hours of mosaic making, with every tool and material laid out. Glass by glass, six very different pieces take shape. Years from now, when you're all eighty, somebody will point at hers on the shelf and tell the story of this afternoon. And the bride? She's given something extra special from our talented Ultimate mosaic artist, a gift personalised to her and a keepsake of her day.
Every piece is dry the moment you finish and slips into a cute little box bag that fits straight into a handbag, so the mosaics come along for the rest of the day. With the mosaics boxed, the afternoon moves into the city and the day starts to build.
Our rooftop lounge doesn't even take Saturday bookings, unless you happen to be one of our hens, so you swan straight past to your reserved space. Palm fronds and lush greenery frame the whole city skyline. A glass of bubbly lands in every hand, and a bonus cocktail goes straight to the bride. The discounted cocktail menu is right there for round two, and nobody rushes you off. The first rooftop toast is hers.
Then it's down to the water for a gentle stroll along the river, arm in arm, with the city on one side and the water on the other, phones out for photos over the Yarra and all of you together the whole way.
Dinner is waiting on the Southbank riverfront, at our restaurant where wine bottles line the walls and plants hang overhead. A glass of bubbly greets everyone at your table, then the chef's selection of tapas lands in the middle for sharing. There's nothing quite like breaking bread with your favourite people while the lights of the city start to sparkle across the water. And because one bonus cocktail a day is never enough for a bride, a second one is on its way to her.
When the plates are cleared, it's over the bridge and into the laneways, to a chic cocktail bar tucked away where you'd never find it on your own. The cover charge is waived and a velvet VIP booth is yours for two hours, all custom neon and glittering pendants, with a bottle of sparkling arriving for the hen. It's the perfect way to cheers the bride into the night, and when her song comes on, the dance floor is right there.
Somewhere in that booth, the bride will pull her box bag out of her handbag to show off her mosaic one more time, then look around and ask who on earth put this day together. Everyone will look at you.
